Serbia, Slovenia on cooperation in agriculture

Serbian Minister of Agriculture and Water Management Ivana Dulic-Markovic, who is on a working visit to Slovenia, said in Ljubljana today that direct communication has been established with the Slovenian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Food.

Dulic-Markovic said that Slovenia has applied for the Twining Project, whose agricultural segment is funded by the European Union (EU). “Slovenia is a country which used to live with us, under the same legal system, and the organisation of the agricultural sectors was similar. For this reason, Slovenia’s experience in the process of EU accession could be of great help to us,” said Dulic-Markovic and the Tanjug news agency reported.
