The session is chaired by the oldest parliament member Borka Vucic from the Serbian Socialist Party (SPS), and she is assisted by four youngest deputies - Nikola Vukelic from the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Konstantin Samofalov from the Democratic Party (DS), Borko Ilic from the coalition Democratic Party of Serbia - New Serbia (DSS-NS), and Miljan Randjelovic from G17 Plus.
A 90-minute break has been made so that a three-member commission could check certificates issued by the Serbian Electoral Commission on giving mandates to deputies.
The commission is made up of representatives of three parties that have won the largest number of votes - Vjerica Radeta from the SRS, Nenad Konstadinovic from the DS and Milica Radovic from the coalition DSS-NS.
After verification of mandates, MPs will start discussing the Draft Resolution following UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari’s "Comprehensive Proposal for the Kosovo Status Settlement" as well the continuation of talks on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
The proposal will be explained by Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica whereas President Boris Tadic will address the MPs during the debate.
