The pre-election silence will begin on January 18 at midnight and will last until January 21 at 8 pm. On January 21, from 7 am to 8 pm, reports on the time and place where certain election candidates cast their votes, followed by pictures or sound will be allowed, but the release of their statements is forbidden, until the termination of the pre-election silence.
During the pre-election silence, broadcasters will be allowed to give information, notifications and videos of appropriate republic bodies and non-governmental institutions, informing citizens where and when they can vote, as well as estimations of the voter turnout, reads the statement.
