According to the statement, following yesterday’s technical talks, it is expected today that the two sides will harmonise texts of both agreements with all their elements, including annex and declarations.
After this round of negotiations, it is expected that the draft texts will be presented by the European Commission to the EU Council of Ministers, and by the Serbian team to the Serbian government, so that the agreements may be initialled by beginning of March.
The Serbian government’s negotiating team consists of representatives of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Service for Human and Minority Rights and the EU Integration Office, and the EU is represented by experts of the Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security and the Directorate-General for Enlargement, reads the statement.
