The manager of this project, which was realised in cooperation with the publishing house “Prosvetni Pregled”, Tihomir Nikolic explained that the books were designed electronically and printed using special software called Win-Braille.
Nikolic said that the Serbian language exercise books have already been printed in Braille, while it is expected that the exercise books for mathematics will be printed within a month.
Nikolic said that compact discs containing audio material from exercise books will also be available to schools for the blind and visually impaired, and associations of the blind in Serbia and Vojvodina.
Fila stressed that an inclusive education and expert training are the basic subjects of all expert seminars held for education employees, which are held in the organisation of the Council of Europe and non-governmental organisations.
She said that 39.928 employees in the education sector in Serbia attended seminars on expert training during 2006.
