Stojkovic told the newly-appointed justices that they should be efficient and professional as in that way they will build their respect.
He noted that the state and citizens demand that court cases are speeded up and noted that such an approach will be useful in their CVs once the appointment of justices is taken over by the High Judicial Council.
Assistant Minister of Justice Zivka Spasic highlighted the importance of the role of magistrates and recalled that in the past two years and a half the Serbian budget received €20.5 million from collection of fines for misdemeanors.
