In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Golubovic said that Serbia will first take part in the International Green Week Berlin fair scheduled for January 18.
He announced that at the fair he will meet with agriculture ministers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Austria and Germany.
At the same time, Golubovic pointed out that Serbia will for the first time in history participate in the Gulfood fair in Dubai which is particularly interesting to the confectionery industry and beverage producers, and it will also take part in the Berlin fair Fruit Logistica at which it has already had several successful presentations.
He explained that the participation in the Nürnberg Biofach organic fair in February is of special importance since last year Serbia adopted the Law on organic production and products, therefore the exchange of experiences will be very valuable.
Golubovic said that Serbia's participation in the Düsseldorf wine and alcoholic drinks fair Pro Wein has been planned for March, whereas in July Serbia will for the third time present its products at the New York Fancy Food Show at which last year 18 domestic food and drinks producers concluded contracts worth $6.5 million.
According to Golubovic, participation in the agriculture fair in Gornja Radonja in Slovenia has been scheduled for August and the fair in Moscow for September with the aim that Serbia regains its place on the Russian fruit and vegetable market.
Between October 13 and 17 Serbia will take part in the Anuga fair in Cologne, said Golubovic and specified that Serbia's last year's participation in fairs resulted in over €170 million of income and over 40 constant delivery contracts.
Technical support for organising national stands at fairs will be provided by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA).
