Observed by sectors, in November 2006 compared to the same month 2005, the trends were noted as follows: mining and quarrying grew 5.2%, processing industry 1.7%, while in the sector of production and distribution of electricity, gas and water there was a decrease of 0.9%.
The data on industrial production by sectors in November 2006, compared to November 2005, show growth in the production of durable consumer goods by 25.9%, non-durable consumer goods by 1.3%, energy 1.3%, intermediate goods by 2.3%, while a fall of 10.9% has been recorded in the production of capital goods.
The industrial production growth in November 2006 compared to November 2005 was mostly influenced by production of furniture, chemicals and chemical products, coke and oil derivatives, basic metals, and tobacco products.
The seasonal adjustment of the industrial production index for November 2006, compared to the 2005 average, indicates a 4.5% growth in the overall industrial production and a 4.9% growth in the processing industry.
The seasonally adjusted industrial production index for November 2006, compared to October 2006, indicates a 1.4% fall in overall industrial production and a 1.1% fall in the processing industry.
