Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Draskovic and ambassadors of the Benelux Countries in Serbia signed today an agreement on abolishing visa restrictions for diplomatic and official passport holders.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the agreement was signed by Belgian Ambassador in Serbia Denise de Hauwere on behalf of the Belgian government, and by Ambassador of The Netherlands in Serbia Ronald Van Dartel, on behalf of the governments of The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The agreement signed is a first step towards complete liberalisation of the visa regime between Serbia and the Benelux Countries which should include all citizens, reads the statement.
