At the official presentation of awards at the Belgrade City Hall, the Medical System company from Belgrade was awarded for the best new export product, the transport neonatal incubator "compact".
The company "9. septembar" from Gornji Milanovac was awarded for winning a new market, in this case the markets of Ivory Coast and Canada. This company already exports automatic lines for production of paper fancy goods and medical supplies to more than 30 countries across the world.
The award for the best exporter in the category of small and medium-sized companies was shared between two Belgrade companies specialising in information technology, that is software development, and these are PC Tech and HDL Design House.
SIEPA Director Jasna Matic recalled that since 2004 the Agency started presenting awards to best exporters as recognition by the state and incentive to companies for conquering new markets and achieving better results.
According to Matic, during this year, more than 500 companies contacted SIEPA and received technical help and advice from the Agency, and 125 companies got non-repayable financial help worth RSD 100 million for expanding their businesses abroad.
She presented the fact that some 100 companies participated in 10 international fairs in the organisation of SIEPA, where more than 5000 business contacts and various agreements and contracts were realised, with a total value of $50 million.
