The RIK decided to ask the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to contact authorities in charge in Montenegro to arrange that Serbian citizens in Montenegro may cast their votes.
Voters on the voters list in Serbia who are living abroad or will be abroad from January 21, 2007, can cast their votes in polling stations designated by the RIK.
The RIK has called upon voters to submit their data to nearest Serbian embassies and consulates so that voters list can be compiled and special voters registration can be updated.
The data in question are family name and name of one of the parents, and the name, unique personal identity number, gender, year of birth, address of last residence in Serbia before departure abroad or address of last residence in Serbia of one of the parents, address abroad and number of the valid passport.
The necessary data can be submitted in person, by mail or fax, and the deadline for receiving data in embassies and consulates is December 31.
