Đurić underlined that Serbia particularly values Minister Brunet's commitment to deepening relations between Serbia and Benin, expressing his conviction that political dialogue between Belgrade and Cotonou will be further intensified in the coming period, alongside an expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
He noted that, over the past two years, Serbia and Benin have entered a new phase of bilateral relations, a development significantly fostered by reciprocal visits between officials of the two countries.
The Minister welcomed Benin's confirmed participation in Specialised Expo 2027, to be held in Belgrade, assessing that this event will provide an additional opportunity to strengthen contacts and cooperation between the two countries.
The Serbian Foreign Minister said that strengthening partnerships with countries like Benin is a key part of Serbia's broader effort to deepen relations with African partners.
