Minister of Foreign Affairs in a caretaker capacity Marko Đurić met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu in New York during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss Serbia's cooperation with the organisation, as well as regional and international issues.

Đurić emphasised that Serbia views the OSCE as an important security platform for dialogue and values its engagement, specifically highlighting the significance of the OSCE Mission's field activities.
The Serbian Foreign Minister stated that Serbia remains committed to constructive cooperation with ODIHR and other independent OSCE institutions, in a spirit of transparency, mutual trust, and respect for the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
Đurić also met in New York with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.
The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed pride in the decades-long friendship and closeness between the two nations and states, noting that relations between Serbia and Cyprus are characterised by mutual understanding, respect and support.
Noting that Serbia and the Republic of Cyprus have no outstanding issues, he assessed that political dialogue between the two countries is highly developed at all levels and expressed the expectation that Minister Kombos will visit Serbia in the near future.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on current geopolitical and regional issues, with particular attention devoted to the possibility of resuming trilateral meetings, which have proven to be a useful mechanism for deepening political dialogue, exchanging views on various issues, and strengthening concrete cooperation.
