Intensifying bilateral cooperation with Singapore

Đurić highlighted Serbia’s interest in further intensifying bilateral cooperation with Singapore, recalling the foundations laid during the period of intensive cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement.
According to him, strengthening political dialogue and increasing the exchange of high-level and top-level visits would provide fresh impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of ties between the two countries.
Speaking on economic relations, the Serbian Foreign Minister expressed Serbia’s readiness to intensify economic and investment cooperation and to identify specific areas offering genuine opportunities for new projects and investments.
He particularly emphasised the value of Singapore’s experience regarding innovation and cybersecurity, noting that these specific areas offer scope for concrete collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two nations.
Đurić expressed his satisfaction that the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Singapore would be marked during the year of Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade and invited Minister Balakrishnan to visit Serbia during the exhibition, noting that such an official visit would make a significant contribution to commemorating this important anniversary and further strengthening relations between the two countries.
