Serbian Minister of Defence Zoran Stankovic and Greek Minister of Defence Evagelos Meimerakis signed today a defence cooperation agreement with a view of performing joint military activities and improving scientific and technological cooperation.

Stankovic said after the signing that it means improvement of military cooperation between Serbia and Greece, officers’ training, joint trainings of special units and exchange of expert groups.
Meimerakis said that the agreement covers a wide range of bilateral military cooperation, including cooperation of the two countries’ peace operations centres.
The agreement will allow for further promotion of traditionally good relations between Greece and Serbia and expressed satisfaction with the successful work of the Greek language centre in Belgrade.
