The exercise was also attended by Minister of Defence in a caretaker capacity Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović.
The exercise was carried out jointly by units of the Land Forces, the Air Force and Air Defence, as well as the Serbian Armed Forces’ special and military police units.
More than 2,000 members of the Serbian Armed Forces took part in this phase of the exercise, with over 500 key pieces of military equipment deployed.
The exercise featured the operation of modernised tanks and other armoured vehicles, fighter aircraft and helicopters, surface-to-air missile systems, anti-tank missile systems and artillery weapons.
The capabilities of numerous unmanned and robotic platforms, as well as modern small arms, were also demonstrated. Particular emphasis was placed on the use of newly introduced and modernised equipment and systems with which the Serbian Armed Forces have been equipped in the recent period.
The aim of the exercise was to further improve the training and readiness of commands and units for the preparation and conduct of combat operations, as well as to strengthen their coordination and cooperation.
The exercise was also attended by Minister of Sport in a caretaker capacity Zoran Gajić, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in a caretaker capacity Snežana Paunović.
Also attending the exercise were Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić and Milorad Dodik.
