At the event, which brought together more than 70 women entrepreneurs from various parts of Serbia, as well as from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, Macura emphasised that state support for the development of women's entrepreneurship must be accompanied by the creation of a space where women entrepreneurs can network, exchange experiences, and open doors to new business opportunities.
She pointed out that, through various programmes and public calls, the state provides support to women wishing to start or expand their businesses, but noted that funding and grant competitions are not the only forms of support they need.
It is equally important for women entrepreneurs to have the opportunity to meet, share experiences, find partners for new projects, and enter new markets, the Minister stated, adding that the "Women Drive Serbia" campaign was launched precisely for this reason—to create a space for networking, learning, and generating new business opportunities.
The "Women Drive Serbia" campaign focuses on networking, educating, and empowering women entrepreneurs, with a particular emphasis on connecting female entrepreneurs from various parts of Serbia and the region, exchanging experiences, and opening up opportunities for collaboration and access to new markets.
