The report which is based on results from all polling stations, states that the Serbian Electoral Commission must announce the final results of the referendum by tomorrow at 8 pm. According to the report, voter turnout was 54.91%.
Voting was held at 8,441 polling stations, and of 6,639,385 voters, 3,645,517 cast their votes at the referendum, which is 54.91% of the electorate.
The report says that 3,521,724 voters or 53.04% voted in favour of adopting the new Constitution of Serbia, and 97,497 voters or 1.47% voted against its adoption.
The number of invalid ballot-papers was 25,866 or 0.71%.
In Kosovo-Metohija 85.29% of voters voted in favour of the new Constitution, in Vojvodina 43.93%, and in central Serbia 55.33%.
According to results from polling stations abroad, 2,860 voters or 15.81% of 18,093 registered voters voted for the new Constitution. A total number of 2,960 voters cast their votes at the referendum, and 70 of them voted against adopting the Constitution.
The total number of registered voters in penal institutions was 6,675 of which 5,179 or 77.59% voted to support the new Constitution.
