The Serbian Electoral Commission stated today that according to preliminary results, 52.31% of 6,639,385 registered voters voted in favour of the new Constitution of Serbia.

Members of the Serbian Electoral Commission said at a press conference that these are results from 98.88% of polling stations, not including data from Kosovo-Metohija, Raski and Borski districts and four places overseas.
President of the Serbian Electoral Commission Mihailo Rulic said that according to latest results voter turnout at the referendum was 54.19% which represents 3,557,596 voters, 0.72% ballot-papers were invalid, and some 20 irregularities in the referendum process were reported.
Voter turnout in Belgrade was 53.66%, of which 52.26% voters supported the Constitution.
In central Serbia 55.33% and in Vojvodina 43.92% of votes were cast in favour of the new Constitution.
Final results must be reported by November 2 until 8 pm at the latest.
