During the visit, Macut said that Serbia’s development requires the balanced development of each of its parts and continuous investments in culture, tourism, infrastructure and local self-government.
During the visit to Golubac, an agreement on business and technical cooperation was signed between EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Ministry of Tourism and Youth, concerning the Serbian House pavilion.
Macut said that the Serbian House pavilion will provide an opportunity to present to the world the cultural heritage, history, natural beauty, tourism and economic potential of the entire country, with each city and municipality showcasing its development opportunities.
Thereafter, the Prime Minister visited the international port in Donji Milanovac, emphasising that the Danube is one of Serbia’s most important development resources and that the state’s goal is for tourists visiting the country to stay as long as possible and get to know Đerdap, Lepenski Vir, Golubac and other destinations in eastern Serbia.
He pointed out that eastern Serbia represents one of the country’s greatest development potentials.
