Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with Minister of Local Self-Government and President of the Democratic Party of Serbs in North Macedonia Ivan Stoilkovikj.
The two officials discussed the position of the Serb community in North Macedonia, preservation of national identity, language, culture and tradition, as well as the importance of further strengthening ties of the Serbian people in the region with their mother country.
The interlocutors agreed that stability, dialogue and good relations between Serbia and North Macedonia are of great importance for the entire region, as well as that there is space for further improving cooperation in the areas of common interest.
Macut underlined that Serbia will continue to be a pillar of support for its people no matter where they live, while at the same time building a policy of good neighbourly relations, cooperation and peace.
