Djuric told the Tanjug news agency that the leading principles of the Contact Group for conducting talks on Kosovo-Metohija exclude entirely any calls to violence.
He underlined that Martti Ahtisaari is obliged to respect the leading principles of the Contact Group and after his statement that Serbs are guilty as a nation, it is high time that he reacted most firmly to the threat of violence from ethnic Albanian separatists.
With this blunt threat, the minimum of the legitimacy of the talks on the future of Kosovo-Metohija is brought into question. Ahtisaari must in pursuance of his duty take a stand against this blunt threat of violence, and if he fails to make an unambiguous reaction, that will in itself mean approval and complicity with those who have announced that they will not hesitate to use violence, Djuric pointed out.
He concluded that ethnic Albanian separatists have publicly threatened violence, terror and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo-Metohija if they do not get one more Albanian state.
