Serbia, Illinois sign agreement on establishing special relations

Serbian President Boris Tadic met today with the Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevic in Chicago and signed an agreement on establishing brotherly relations between Serbia and Illinois.
During his visit to the US, which will last until September 23, Tadic will address the UN General Assembly on the subject of Kosovo-Metohija on September 21 in New York. He is also due to speak at the UN Security Council session the next day.
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Draskovic, who is accompanying Tadic in the US, will also attend the session of the UN General Assembly.
During the session of the UN General Assembly, Tadic and Draskovic will hold several bilateral meetings with heads of states, high-ranking diplomats and other top officials of the international community.
