During the open and constructive conversation, the traditionally good relations between Serbia and Spain and the joint commitment to further strengthening the partnership were confirmed.
On this occasion, Glamočić pointed out the exceptionally good cooperation between President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sánchez, and emphasised that it represents an important foundation for bilateral relations, which will continue to develop successfully in the future.
The Minister of Agriculture stressed that there is significant potential for deepening cooperation in the field of agriculture, especially in the livestock sector, exchange of technologies, genetic improvement of herds, as well as joint investment and expert projects.
He called on Spanish companies to invest in agriculture in Serbia, especially in the swine farming sector.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain emphasised his country’s continued and strong support for Serbia’s European path and the opening of new negotiation chapters.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and agreed to continue working in the spirit of partnership, with full transparency and in the interest of producers and consumers in both countries, according to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
