The two officials agreed to put joint efforts into resolving all major problems, including the two ministries’ cooperation in the fight against organised crime, terrorism, corruption, human trafficking and money laundering, in order to protect human rights.
They also agreed to coordinate the two ministries’ activities to meet their obligations stemming from the Constitutional Charter and the Law on the Constitutional Charter implementation.
Stojkovic and Sturanovic further pledged to resolve the problem of Serbia-Montenegro’s agent at the Strasbourg Court and discussed the work of the state union court.
A Serbian Ministry of Justice delegation, also comprising Deputy Minister Branislav Bjelica and Assistant Minister Aleksandra Popovic, is scheduled to meet with Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Dragan Djurovic later in the day.
A Montenegrin Ministry of Justice delegation also includes Assistant Minister Branka Lakocevic and Ministry Secretary Srdjan Spaic.
