Under the sale agreement signed yesterday by representatives of the agency and MK Commerce, the selling price is set at €2.5 million, the investment programme is worth nearly €5.2 million whereas the buyer agreed to additional obligations from the social welfare programme.
Bids for the Kula plant had also been submitted by companies Rodic M&B Co from Kula, Home Art & Sales Services AG from Switzerland and a consortium made up of Mega-Trade from Kula and Univerzal-TPM from Belgrade.
The tender commission opened bids at its first session on May 5, 2006 and unanimously proclaimed MK Commerce winner of the tender at the second session held on June 19, 2006.
