The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced that the so-called inspectors today usurped and closed the premises of the Official Gazette in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, thus preventing the normal supply of textbooks and teaching materials to Serbian pupils and schools.

The attack by the so-called inspectors of the illegitimate municipal authorities, installed against the will of the inhabitants of the majority Serb northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, represents an indirect attack on children, with the aim of denying the youngest members of the Serbian people the opportunity to attend school in their mother tongue and according to the curricula of the Republic of Serbia.
While in democratic societies local authorities are a service to citizens, in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as has been confirmed once again, Kurti's police act as a service for the oppression of citizens and the violation of basic human rights.
This attack on institutions, which represent the guarantor of the survival of the Serbian people in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, continues the policy of ethnic cleansing, with the aim of expelling all Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija.
