Đurić assessed that it is significant that the Central African Republic is represented at the ministerial level at this event, emphasising that Serbia greatly appreciates the decades-long friendship with that country and the good dynamics of political dialogue at the high and highest levels.
In addition to sincere friendship and a shared commitment to improving cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, our countries also share values such as autonomy and independence in the implementation of foreign policy, as well as respect for the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, he underlined.
When it comes to economic ties, the Serbian Foreign Minister welcomed the joint initiative to deepen contractual relations between our two countries in the field of economic cooperation, pointing out that this would give our overall relations new momentum and new energy.
The two officials also discussed additional opportunities for strengthening economic and trade ties and recognised the potential for their intensification in the fields of agriculture, infrastructure and information technologies, as well as in terms of diversifying trade.
