The meeting highlighted the importance of fostering connections between universities, research institutes, and companies from both countries to develop joint projects and introduce innovative solutions that would boost the productivity and competitiveness of Serbian farmers.
Glamočić stated that the goal is to ensure Serbian farmers have access to state-of-the-art solutions enabling them to produce more at lower costs, while ensuring more rational resource use and greater production security.
That is precisely why we see cooperation with China, a global leader in new technology development, as a major opportunity to further accelerate the technological advancement of our agricultural sector and create conditions for domestic producers to achieve greater success and competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, the Minister emphasised.
The Ambassador informed the Minister that a significant number of Chinese provinces had already expressed interest in participating in Expo 2027 in Belgrade, while Glamočić noted that the keen interest shown by the Chinese side serves as further confirmation of the strong friendship and close bilateral relations.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador and Chinese partners for the successful cooperation to date, voicing his conviction that Serbia and China would further strengthen their partnership in the agricultural sector in the period ahead, particularly through knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and the development of innovations.
