Minister of Foreign Affairs in a caretaker capacity Marko Đurić held talks today with members of the Switzerland-Serbia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Đurić noted that bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent and characterised by diverse and intensive cooperation across various fields – ranging from high-level political dialogue to robust cooperation in the economy, finance and services sectors, as well as collaboration in the areas of justice, migration, science and high technology.
He briefed his interlocutors on the systematic violation of the rights and freedoms of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, expressing gratitude to the MPs for raising and addressing this issue within the Swiss public sphere and the Federal Assembly, as well as at the level of European international organisations.
Expressing appreciation for Switzerland’s confirmed participation in Specialised Expo 2027, the Minister also updated his interlocutors on the progress made in the project’s implementation.
