Simic said that solutions given in the
Serbian government's Plan for Kosovo-Metohija, unanimously adopted in the Serbian parliament, are the only guarantor that Serbs will survive in Kosovo-Metohija, and that the province will become multiethnic and multicultural, as stipulated by the Resolution 1244 of the United Nations Security Council.
Blagoje Orlovic from the village of Gornji Strmac in northern Kosovo was shot last night and his condition is unstable.
Immediately after the attack, Orlovic was taken to a hospital in northern Kosovska Mitrovica and operated. Orlovic was attacked by an unidentified group, at 2 am.
Milena Cvetkovic, doctor at the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital, told the Beta news agency that Orlovic told doctors he was on guard duty when he was attacked. People of Gornji Strmac, a village of some twenty Serbian houses mostly inhabited by old people, organised the guard to prevent ethnic Albanians from steeling their cattle.
Kosovo Serbs will hold a protest meeting at Zubin Potok tomorrow to urge KFOR to establish a permanent military checkpoint between ethnic Albanian villages in the municipality of Srbica, and Serbian villages in Zubin Potok.
