The Serbian Ministry of Education and Sport, in cooperation with British Council and Serbian power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), has organised a national competition in Petnica on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Nikola Tesla’s birth.
The theme of the competition was life and work of Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla and there were 40 students who competed. Students who qualify needed to have excellent grades in mathematics, physics and English.
The competition was attended by Assistant Minister of Education and Sport Vesna Fila, Director of British Council in Belgrade Chris Gibson and EPS Deputy Director General Zoran Manasijevic.
