Loncar delivers assistance to municipalities in central Serbia

Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar visited Jagodina today where he delivered donations to presidents of 19 municipalities and eight administrative districts in central Serbia. The funds were garnered by means of games of chance.

Loncar said that the total amount of funds to be allocated to local self-government units is around 54 million dinars and it will be used to finance local self-government projects approved by the government.
The Minister invited all municipalities to participate in other contests of the kind and said that another competition will soon be announced for the allocation of funds from games of chance, adding that the prize will be delivered in September.
The municipalities of Jagodina and Kraljevo received five million dinars each, while Svilajnac got six million. Other awarded municipalities are from the districts of Pomoravlje, Sumadija, Rasina, Zajecar, Bor, Branicevo, Raska and Kolubara, said Loncar.
