The statement adds that the meeting will look at the progress of reforms in the trade, industry, customs and tax sectors, whereas experts from both sides are to discuss Serbia's non-customs protection measures, trade statistics and administrative capacities for the implementation of regulations in the trade sector. The meeting will also concern the expansion of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), implementation of European partnership priorities and law enforcement regarding trade policies.
Topics of special interest will be industrial policy in Serbia and the policy of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the framework programme for competitiveness and innovation and tourism development in Serbia.
Serbian government representatives will also speak about the implementation of customs regulations in Serbia, regulations concerning the origin of goods and administrative capacities for the enforcement of legal provisions. As for the tax sector, there will be talks about VAT, excise tax, direct taxation and corporate taxation, concludes the statement.
