Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said today that citizens, who spoke with whom on telephone, mainly complained about lengthy court procedures and unjustified delay in handing out sentences.

He said on the occasion that it is necessary to accelerate court procedures and creation of conditions so that cases are decided in a reasonable period of time in accordance with the demands of citizens and the Strategy for Reform of Judiciary.
He said that lengthy procedures and inefficiency of courts creates a picture of a corrupt judiciary in the minds of citizens.
The largest number of complaints concerned the work of the fourth municipal Court in Belgrade, said Stojkovic, adding that the Ministry of Justice is willing to react to the situation.
