Speaking at a roundtable on human resources management with the aid of information technologies, Zegarac said that a national programme for the creation of business incubators is currently being prepared, which aims at gathering donors and state institutions such as ministries, agencies and chambers of commerce that deal with that field of work.
According to Zegarac, the Agency for Development of SMEs, with the help of the Italian government, is working on introducing an information system that will facilitate SMEs to access data of importance for their work, enable on-line consulting, overview of supply and demand on the market and the possibilities for taking part in e-trade.
She said that introduction of new information technologies is very important for SMEs because it facilitates the production process and functioning of administration, which results in a better quality of products and services, shorter deadlines and higher profits.
The first business incubator, as a pilot project for which data necessary for establishing and running a company have been provided, has been opened in Nis and it currently hosts companies that specialise in the light metal industry, Zegarac said.
