List of preliminary qualified bidders for Mobi 63 announced

Belgrade, 19 May 2006

The Serbian Privatisation Agency and the Telecommunications Agency stated that nine bidders have preliminarily qualified to participate in the public auction for the sale of a share in company Mobi 63 and the licence, in line with the GSM/GSM 1800 and UMTS/IMT-2000 standards for the Republic of Serbia.

The list has been based upon the evaluation of the Consultant and in accordance with clause 8 of the Public Invitation for participation in the public bidding procedure for purchase of shares of the enterprise Mobi 63 and the license in accordance with GSM/GSM 1800 and UMTS/IMT-2000 standards, published on April 28, and comprises the following preliminary qualified bidders:

Telenor ASA, Norway Tele2 AB, Sweden France Telecom, France Orascom Telecom Holding, Egypt Deutsche Telekom AG, Germany Etisalat, UAE Telia Sonera Sweden Mobile TeleSystems, MTS, Russia Mobilkom Austria AG, Austria.

The Consultants will send Instructions to the preliminary qualified bidders, i.e. the document describing the tender procedure and the conditions for submission of offers, concludes the statement.
