Bids opened for sale of Mobi 63

Belgrade, 15 May 2006

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated today that the public opening of Letters of Interest for participation in the public auction for the sale of a share in company Mobi 63 and its licence took place today, in line with the GSM/GSM 1800 and UMTS/IMT-2000 standards for the Republic of Serbia.

Representatives of prospective bidders and the media were present at the public opening, and a total of ten Letters of Interest was submitted in the following order of arrival:

1. Mobilkom Austria AG & Co KG, Vienna, Austria; 2. Discount Investment Corporation Ltd, Tel Aviv, Israel; 3. Tele2 Sverige AB, Kista, Sweden; 4. France Telecom SA, Paris, France; 5. Orascom Telecom, Cairo, Egypt; 6. Deutsche Telekom AG, Bonne, Germany; 7. Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (ETISALAT), Abu Dhabi, UAE 8. Telia Sonera Sverige AB, Farsta, Sweden; 9. Mobile TeleSystems OJSC, Moscow, Russia; 10. Telenor ASA, Fornebu, Norway.

The Privatisation Agency will announce the names of prequalified bidders by May 19 at the latest.
