In a statement to the Beta news agency, head of the Serbian government's EU Integration Office Tanja Miscevic said that one of the delegation's tasks will be to try and retain the current visa fee, since it should go up to €60 by the end of the month.
"This decision will be made by end-April and some EU member countries have already increased the fee. We will try to keep the current fee and determine whether there are categories for which visas can be abolished or granted free-of-charge", said Miscevic.
According to Miscevic, documents required for a visa, guarantees and periods for which it is issued will be discussed at the meetings with EU representatives.
One part of the delegation, led by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ivana Dulic-Markovic, will talk about preparations for the technical round of talks on trade liberalisation of industrial and agricultural products, as part of the negotiations on the SAA.
Participants in the meetings with the European Commission, scheduled for April 25 and 26, will be representatives of the Serbia-Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Serbian and Montenegrin ministries of interior, the EU Integration Office, as well as National Coordinator for Integrated Border Management Vesna Nikolic.
