Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević spoke today with Head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia Jan Braathu about the priorities in further cooperation with this organisation, which aim to accelerate reforms in the area of the rule of law.
Miščević informed Braathu about the activities related to the adoption of the Reform Agenda, a government document containing four areas of strategic reforms, which Serbia should implement in the next three years.
The officials agreed that the reform plans in the segment of the rule of law, for which Serbia also has the support of the OSCE, are of great importance for the improvement of the internal social dialogue.
During the meeting, other measures in this area that lead to accelerated integration were discussed, such as faster harmonization with the visa regime of the European Union.
On that occasion, it was particularly emphasised that Serbian institutions are working on the implementation of ODIHR recommendations precisely as part of their Reform Agenda, with the aim that, when they are fully implemented, they will become a standard in the rule of law in our country.
