State team completes preparations for third round of talks on Kosovo's decentralisation

The state team for political talks on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija held a meeting today at the Serbian Presidency building, which was presided over by the team's co-chairman and main negotiator, Serbian President Boris Tadic.

The Serbian President's press service issued a statement saying that the meeting was attended by the team's co-chairman and the main negotiator, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and the main negotiator, Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Draskovic.
At the meeting, the preparations for the third round of talks on decentralisation of Kosovo-Metohija, to be held on April 3 in Vienna, were completed.
The same delegation as for the previous round of talks was appointed, with one member more, Gordana Matkovic. A special team for talks on economic and financial issues was set up and it will be chaired by President of the Belgrade University Dejan Popovic.
Members of the state team also looked at other important issues concerning the further course of negotiations, and a technical secretariat of the negotiation team was also set up, which will be headed by Secretary Vladimir Jovicic, the statement concludes.
