Brnabic thanked the ODIHR representatives for the institutional cooperation that has existed since 2019, as well as for the professional approach and report after the December 2023 elections in our country.
ODIHR representatives welcomed the readiness of the Serbian government to continue working on improving election conditions, as evidenced by this, the first in a series, meeting of the Working group, just a few days after the final report of this institution.
According to them, this further testifies to the importance the Serbian government attaches to the implementation of ODIHR's recommendations.
Brnabic expressed her belief that, in addition to the current work on the recommendations, the new composition of the Serbian government will also continue constructive cooperation on the implementation of the recommendations and improvement of the election process.
At the meeting, all the recommendations of the ODIHR were discussed in detail and the next steps for their implementation were agreed upon.
The Working group will continue holding its sessions in the coming days, so that the recommendations of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights are implemented as soon as possible.
