Tender sale of Zemun-based IPM Zmaj declared unsuccessful

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated today that the tender commission monitoring the implementation of the public tender for the sale of 100% of the socially-owned company IMK Zmaj from Zemun declared the tender unsuccessful at its first session held on March 21. The Agency stated that no bids were submitted before March 10 as envisaged in the text of the public tender.
Within the set time limit, the tender documentation was purchased by two companies, France's Bourgoin and Meridian Balkans from Belgrade, reads the statement.
The public tender for the sale of 100% of the total registered capital of IMK Zmaj from Zemun, which is in the process of restructuring, was called on September 13, 2005. The deadline for submitting bids was November 11 2005.
Since interest in this company was very slight at the beginning of the privatisation process, the Agency kept extending the deadline submitting bids as requested by participants in the tender.
