Kostunica holds talks with Republika Srpska top officials

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Serbian Parliament Speaker and Acting Serbian President Predrag Markovic met today with Republika Srpska President Dragan Cavic and Parliament Speaker Dragan Kalinic.
The officials stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska, which will in turn encourage further improvement of relations between the state union of Serbia-Montenegro and the Bosnia-Herzegovina Federation.
The full respect of the Dayton agreement by the both sides and readiness to improve relations gives a significant contribution to the stabilisation of the region and development of democracy.
At the proposal of Republika Srpska President Dragan Cavic, the officials agreed that a business delegation of the Serbian government will soon visit Republika Srpska, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation.
In addition, at the proposal of Serbian Parliament Speaker Predrag Markovic, a parliamentary delegation of Republika Srpska will visit the Serbian parliament.
