Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today, after presenting the results of the government's 100 days of work in Lebane, that Serbia has made huge strides on its road to the European Union, as shown by the reports of the European Commission.
Answering journalists' questions, Brnabic pointed out that we have achieved an additional big advance by adopting a set of judicial laws, that is, a whole series of documents by which we harmonise them with changes in the Constitution with the aim of an independent judiciary, independent prosecution, without any political influence.
She, however, noted that she does not believe that we will see concrete results from that, because the condition that is being set now is the introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation, and that without that, they will not open new clusters for us.
As she warned, this would represent a new condition, bearing in mind that until now the rule of law and dialogue with Pristina have been the most important for our European integration.
She said that the state continues to work on the European path, recalling that yesterday the Bill on Electronic Communications was sent to the parliament, as well as that we now have to work on a whole series of laws on media, defined by the Media Strategy.
