Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, spoke today with Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia Anke Konrad about advancing bilateral relations, economic cooperation and continuing the partnership between the two countries.
Macut emphasised that Germany is one of Serbia’s most important foreign trade partners and one of its largest foreign investors, noting that maintaining stable and predictable cooperation is of utmost importance for economic development and further strengthening economic ties.
The officials discussed opportunities for enhancing cooperation in the areas of the economy, energy, education, science, innovation and digitalisation, with the assessment that there is significant space for the implementation of new joint projects.
The Prime Minister reiterated the Serbian government’s commitment to continuing cooperation with Germany in all areas of mutual interest.
