At the meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, discussions focused on the current situation regarding African swine fever and measures to prevent its further spread.
Particular attention was devoted to improving the quality of livestock and preserving animal health, as well as to intensifying interdepartmental cooperation in order to ensure more effective prevention and control of infectious animal diseases.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović discussed plans for expanding energy capacities, with particular focus on the implementation of the Bistrica pumped-storage hydropower plant project, which represents one of the key strategic projects for strengthening Serbia’s energy stability.
The meeting also addressed improving the coordination of activities in the oil sector, as well as the further development of renewable and other energy sources, including nuclear energy.
In the discussion with Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić, special attention was devoted to improving school sports as one of the key mechanisms for promoting healthy lifestyles among children and young people.
