At the panel discussion "Regional economic integration as a response to global economic trends", held after the two-day conference "One region - one market, a step towards the EU common market", Brnabic pointed out the importance of better transport connections in the region, as well as development in the fields of education, innovation, science and exchange of experiences, especially of young people.
I would like everyone on the side to have even less time to deal with us, because I think that we know each other well, that we understand quite well what the recent past was like and how many troubles and problems have brought us all, while we understand more and more what the potential is in a different approach to our future, the Prime Minister pointed out.
She pointed out that the "Open Balkans" initiative is the last in a series of regional initiatives that were autochthonously launched from these parts.
We are a small region and each country is operationally small, with a small population. If we do not learn to respect each other, work, connect and perform together, our development and growth will not be as fast and high-quality, sustainable, as we all need to make up for lost time, Brnabic pointed out.
The conference "One region - one market, a step towards the EU common market" was held yesterday and today in the Master Congress Centre of the Novi Sad Fair.
This is the seventh time that this important conference was held in Novi Sad, and local, regional and European togetherness was discussed.
