The Serbian Privatisation Agency said in a statement today that the tender commission for the sale of 70% of the socially-owned capital of the joint-stock company “Danubius” from Novi Sad, which is 63,7% of the company's total capital, has accepted the tender list at its second session held on January 13, according to which “Delta M” from Belgrade has been announced the top ranked bidder, and a consortium of "MK Komerc" from Novi Sad and "Fidelinka" from Subotica the second-ranked.
The first ranked bidder “Delta M” has offered €10.75 million and an investment programme worth €6.8 million, and has unconditionally accepted the minimum requirements of the social welfare programme.
After announcing the tender list, the Serbian Agency for Privatisation and “Delta M” will enter a period of negotiations to finalise the details of the sale contract.
If negotiations are concluded successfully, the Agency will sign the final contract with the buyer within 30 days from the start of negotiations, adds the statement.
The tender commission comprised deputy head of the commission and director of "Danubius" Milorad Sredanovic, as a representative of the company being privatised, deputy head of the local government of Novi Sad Rada Marinkov, Zoran Tadic of the industry sector at the Ministry of Economy and secretary of "Danubius" Sava Popovic.
