The Minister pointed out that the level of political relations between Serbia and Spain is very high and that there is significant room for the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of trade and investment.
In the past nine months, the total trade exchange amounted to €912.3 million, which is a record in the relations between the two countries, Momirovic specified.
He reiterated that Serbia is open to new investments by Spanish businessmen and to connecting with small and medium-sized enterprises and concluding joint ventures for the joint production and challenges.
The Serbia-Spain Business Forum, which was held in Belgrade today, gathered over 150 Serbian businessmen and 17 Spanish companies, such as Airbus, Grupo Typsa, Siemens Gamesa, CAF and Azbil.
The Spanish delegation was led by Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Reyes Maroto.
During the event, the chambers of commerce of Serbia and Spain signed the Memorandum of understanding on the development and strengthening of economic cooperation.
